The Library
/library is where your audio lives. Search, upload, edit and organise tracks.
Track categories decide where a track can be used:
| Category | What it's for |
|---|---|
| MUSIC | Songs: the bulk of automation |
| JINGLE | Station stings |
| ID | Station idents (kept distinct from jingles) |
| BED | Music beds under voice links |
| ADVERT | Commercials / sponsor spots |
| NEWS | News bulletins (managed via News feeds) |
| PODCAST | Auto-imported podcast episodes |
| EMERGENCY | Fallback content |
| OTHER | Anything else |
Uploading: drop audio in; the worker transcodes it to a canonical MP3, detects cue points
(intro, start, end), measures loudness, and generates a waveform. A track shows
UPLOADING → PROCESSING → READY.
Editing a track (/track-edit) lets you set title, artist, album, genre, year, category,
cue-in/out and intro, and per-track rules like a no-repeat window. Track info (/track-info)
is a read-only view with loudness/compliance detail.
Cue points matter: if a track cues in at 3s and out at 215s, automation treats it as 212s long and times the hour around that.
