The Library

/library is where your audio lives. Search, upload, edit and organise tracks.

Track categories decide where a track can be used:

Category What it's for
MUSIC Songs: the bulk of automation
JINGLE Station stings
ID Station idents (kept distinct from jingles)
BED Music beds under voice links
ADVERT Commercials / sponsor spots
NEWS News bulletins (managed via News feeds)
PODCAST Auto-imported podcast episodes
EMERGENCY Fallback content
OTHER Anything else

Uploading: drop audio in; the worker transcodes it to a canonical MP3, detects cue points (intro, start, end), measures loudness, and generates a waveform. A track shows UPLOADING → PROCESSING → READY.

Editing a track (/track-edit) lets you set title, artist, album, genre, year, category, cue-in/out and intro, and per-track rules like a no-repeat window. Track info (/track-info) is a read-only view with loudness/compliance detail.

Cue points matter: if a track cues in at 3s and out at 215s, automation treats it as 212s long and times the hour around that.
